Privacy Policy
In short
VoiceGen does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Everything you write and every voiceover you generate stays on your Mac.
What stays on your Mac
- Scripts, projects, generated audio, subtitles and custom voices are stored only on your Mac, inside the app’s own data folder or a folder you choose.
- Speech is generated entirely on your Mac by a built-in model. Your text is never sent to a server.
- VoiceGen has no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
When VoiceGen uses the internet
VoiceGen connects to huggingface.co only when you:
- download the optional High Quality model or a model you add yourself;
- open the Models page, which checks whether a newer version of an installed model is available.
These requests download model files only. They do not include your scripts, audio, or any information about you. Hugging Face may receive your IP address as part of a normal web request; see the Hugging Face privacy policy.
Connect AI
If you turn on Connect AI, AI apps you install yourself (for example Claude or Codex) can ask VoiceGen to generate a voiceover on your Mac. VoiceGen saves the audio to Downloads/VoiceGen and returns it to that app. What the AI app does with your text and audio is governed by that app’s own privacy policy. Connect AI is off by default and works only after you turn it on and add VoiceGen to your AI app yourself.
Children
VoiceGen does not collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.

VoiceGen 不收集、不保存、不分享任何个人数据。你写的文案和生成的配音都只留在你的 Mac 上。
留在你 Mac 上的内容
- 文案、项目、生成的音频、字幕和自定义音色，都只保存在本机：App 自己的数据目录，或你选择的文件夹。
- 语音完全由内置模型在本机生成，文字不会发送到任何服务器。
- 没有账号，没有统计分析，没有广告，也没有任何形式的追踪。
什么时候会联网
只有以下情况会访问 huggingface.co：下载可选的高质量模型或你自己添加的模型；打开“模型”页时检查已安装模型有没有新版本。这些请求只下载模型文件，不包含你的文案、音频或任何个人信息。和普通网页请求一样，Hugging Face 可能会看到你的 IP 地址，详见 Hugging Face 隐私政策。
连接 AI
打开“连接 AI”后，你自己安装的 AI 应用（例如 Claude、Codex）可以请 VoiceGen 在本机生成配音。音频会保存到“下载/VoiceGen”并交给该应用。AI 应用如何处理你的文字和音频，以它自己的隐私政策为准。“连接 AI”默认关闭，只有你在 App 里打开它、并把 VoiceGen 加进自己的 AI 应用后才会生效。
儿童
VoiceGen 不收集任何人的信息，包括儿童。
变更
本政策如有变更，会在本页发布新版本并更新生效日期。
